Tony feels are the best feels.
Anonymous sent: I identify with Tony because I have a condition in which I have too much iron in my body(I am aka iron man around the hospital) I wanted to say how much I appreciate the insight you had on your 1st post about the pain Tony must endure and how if he were not made of stronger stuff, he'd be dead. That's the epitome of my life right there. I'm happy you see the same qualities in Tony that I see in myself when it comes to adversity over struggle.

This was honestly made because I had posted some things about Tony on a roleplaying account and my friends were yelling at me that I ruined their lives with all the feels. So I made an account to post really ridiculous things, a lot of isn’t very much canon as it theoretical and just plain fangirl.

With that being said, the fact that people could still relate and feel like they aren’t alone in the world with a superhero they look up to is pretty amazing. It nice to know that they weren’t just created for entertainment and for saving the world in comics. But to make others feels not so alone in the world.

I know what it feels like to have your body go against yourself and I know there are days where you wish that it would all end. But you still pull through it all. So I wish you all the best and that one day you don’t have to feel the pain and struggles.

If there is a specific aspect you want me to dissect or a head canon you want to be made. Just shoot me an ask. Heck I’ll even do some drabbles for you.

It’s fathers day and the StarkRogers/RogersStark household isn’t filled with presents and fathers day cards. No it’s more of a day of celebration for the love they have in their lives and the family they have created together. Steve never pushed fathers day on Tony because he was afraid it would remind Tony of the empty fathers day Tony celebrated. The crumbled up cards and discarded presents because Howard was far too busy to deal with such silly little things. And Tony never really bothered to bring the topic up with Steve. Though Steve had a father in his life growing up, when Steve made the decision to join the army his father didn’t approve and from then on the relatioship was never as solid as it once was.
Father’s day reminded them of too much pain. So they decided to nix the idea and cherish the day with what brings them the most happiness, Peter and Peggy.
So instead of flowers, cards and presents the family would watch movies and play games together. Most of the times when the children were younger Peter and Peggy had to make sure their dad and pop weren’t sitting anywhere near each other because they would swap cards with each other in UNO just to drag on the game. The kids never could figure out why the game dragged on longer with their dads than with their friends till Pepper had walked into the room and caught them in mid swap. From then on Tony and Steve were never allowed to sit next to each other at game night.

When people say he’s selfish, snarky and inconsiderate.
Did it ever occur to you that he is selfish because he’s only known how to live on his own? That the only one to ever truly appreciate his accomplishments was himself. That when he wanted Howard’s affection it was never there it was directed at SI and the greatness of Cap. That he’s snarky because he’s used to everyone assuming the worse of him and so he protects himself by tearing you down before you get to him because he’s not sure if the next insult will be the final blow to break him. That he is inconsiderate because that’s all he’s ever known. It was all that was demonstrated to him. To put yourself before others. It’s not entirely his fault he is the way he is. Its years of no one giving him the time of day to even care.

Sometimes I just think about the incredible amount of pain Tony Stark must go through every day; the pain of just being alive because he has an arc reactor wired into his chest, taking up the space where his thymus and upper right atrium if his heart should be, as well as his sternum, which is meant to protect those very organs. Imagine if someone hugs him too tight? Or, if something hits him in the chest and his arc reactor just rips through his body, crushing his vena cava, the branches of his aorta, his thymus, his trachea, his bronchi, his esophagus, his spine, his heart for god’s sake? He has a metal nuclear generator wired into his ribcage…how does his skin heal around it? How tightly does it hold? What is the pain like? Is that why he drinks, to numb the pain? Is that why he drives himself to exhaustion? Because he’s living a chronic pain nightmare every day. The suit and him are one, because when he’s using the suit, the arc reactor is keeping alive more than it is killing him. Tony is Iron Man, because if he weren’t made of stronger stuff, he would be dead.
